Six months ago, the initial ideas of what memorydealer could be were coming to fruition.
At the time, the work was based in Adelaide. This is unfortunately no longer the case. The draw of other Australian cities were too tempting and as a result, for the next while, memorydealer is based in Melbourne. More funding opportunities and subsequently, a more burgeoning games culture, is the main reason for this relocation. Not much more to add, just wanted to let people know.
Moving onto the game stuff.
I can say that memorydealer is in the process of pitching for its first project. The funding potentially secured from this pitch allows full production on a prototype for a game called..
teeth is a first-person platfomer metroidvania.

I’m gonna keep this brief, but I’m wanting to explore writing blog posts detailing the game’s development, so I’m hoping to keep this blog updated with some (hopefully) interesting pieces of writing.

*Interestingly, I thought recently that the common phrase was written “peaks” your interest. It was only up until writing my pitch that it auto-corrected to “piques” which is apparently a french world for arousal (of interest). I personally think that “peaks” is more fun but I’ll write it normally to make people happy.
